Bürgenstock Railway
The Bürgenstock Funicular Railway, opened in 1888 and completely overhauled in 2002, is the oldest electric funicular in Switzerland.
What a spectacular combination: arrive by boat in Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock and climb aboard the red carriages. It takes little more than seven minutes of blissful ascent for the horizon to progressively broaden.
